A Five Star Quality Rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has again been achieved by the Weisiger Health Center Staff at The Sharon at SouthPark.
U.S. News Award
For the second consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report recognized The Sharon (nee Sharon Towers) as having one of North Carolina’s best nursing homes. Just as in 2021, we earned an overall rating of five out of five and a short-term rehabilitation rating of “High Performing.” Read more about it on our blog.

The Sharon at SouthPark’s culinary team services won the National Foodservice Education Foundation’s (NFEF) 2023 Department of the Year Award. Anne Moffat won the 2022 Career Excellence Award for Lifetime Achievement from LeadingAge North Carolina

Our former President & CEO Anne Moffat was the well-deserved recipient of the 2022 Career Excellence Award for Lifetime Achievement from LeadingAge North Carolina. She served The Sharon at SouthPark (nee Sharon Towers) for over 20 years, beginning as Director of Nursing, and moving on to Nursing Home Administrator, Assistant Executive Director, and finally CEO. 

Five-Star Quality Rates by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Nurse Brandon Knowles was honored by Centralina Area Agency on Aging for “outstanding achievement as a Mecklenburg County nursing home employee.” Brandon and four others from around the county were chosen. The award is it in its third year, inspired by the pandemic and need to affirm those who go above the call of duty. Read more about it on our blog
