Home Care

Residents sometimes long for a little help with life’s routines or someone to add to the richness of the day. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and companions are available to meet the needs of residents in independent living, assisted living and health care. It’s all done through home care, and it couldn’t be easier. We make the arrangements – days, times and hours – and handle billing through your monthly invoice. Residents are charged by the hour, with a minimum of four hours of assistance per day required. There is no maximum. Home care services are scheduled through the Hicks Wellness Clinic.

Convenience and peace of mind are our top priorities. We screen our CNAs and companions. Once a resident’s needs are assessed, CNAs can help with bathing and showering, dressing, toileting and reminding you when it’s time to take your meds (they cannot administer medication). Companions do laundry, prepare meals, drive their charges to the mall and accompany them to a restaurant for a meal. There are so many in the SouthPark area from which to choose. On some days, a resident and companion might simply sit and work on a puzzle, watch a movie on TV or just talk.

Home Care Supervisor Tiffany Perry-McLeod oversees the service that puts smiles on the faces of everyone involved.
