For this year’s rankings, U.S. News & World Report analyzed over 15,000 nursing homes across the country. For this purpose, their evaluation included factors like staffing levels, safety, infection rates and health inspections. The report for 2025 also emphasized new measures, such as weekend staffing and infection rates leading to hospitalizations.
